The National Institute for Adult Education (INEA) is in charge of offering primary and secondary education, as well as literacy, for people older than 15 years 聽who have not completed these levels of education.

 

Find and approach the nearest community plaza to receive more information and the requirements needed to sign up. Remember the procedure is free and you can do it at any time.

 

The authorities and institutions recognize that it is difficult to finish or start high school or university due to financial considerations. It isn’t always possible to work and study at the same time. Therefore, the following scholarships are available.

  • FONABEC: Grants scholarships and credit in medium and superior level, in technical universities of the Secretariat of Public Education
  • PRONABES: 聽the National Program of Scholarships for Higher Education’s dedicated to fomenting that a higher proportion of young people in adverse economic conditions access public higher education services and conclude their studies appropriately (technical superior university, profesional associate and bachelors degree)
  • You need to be Mexican to be eligible

  • CONACYT: Grant support for those undergoing speciality studies, masters and doctorates in science and technology.聽
  • B茅calos: Offers scholarships for full cycle in medium and higher level studies. There are different types of scholarships:聽

  • Scholarships for academic excellence
  • Scholarships for technical and scientific careers
  • Scholarships to train teachers and directors of public schools
