  • Access to healthcare.

If you require help with obtaining healthcare, we can provide the following services:

  • Referral and accompaniment to access public healthcare.
  • Referral and accompaniment for access to private healthcare and second opinions.
  • Payment of medications.
  • Providing condoms.
  • Preventative information and orientation about taking care of your physical health.
  • Preventative information and orientation about taking care of your sexual and reproductive health.

You can contact the Social Work area to be able to access these services.

  • Remember that to access our services, you are subject to an evaluation, conditioned upon your situation, our assistance criteria and the available resources.

  • Education services.

If you need support to go to school, take up your studies again or validate your previous knowledge, we can help you with the following services:

  • Referral and accompaniment to access grammar school (grammar school, junior high and baccalaureate).
  • Buying materials to access basic education (grammar school and junior high).
  • Support purchasing educational supplies for grammar school.
  • Referral and accompaniment to access the validation of studies. Can
  • Grammar school level classes for adults.

  • Access to employment

If you want to find employment o improve your abilities in order to find a job, we can provide the following services:

  • Referral and accompaniment to access to employment.
  • Referral and accompaniment regarding job offers.
  • Orientation for the development of abilities in order to find work (r茅sum茅, work application, computer skills).
  • Referral and accompaniment for work training.
  • Purchase of materials in order to access work training.

  • Support provided for community integration

We can support you with services that will improve your everyday life and access to diverse benefits offered by institutions such as:

  • Referral and accompaniment to access social government and non-governmental programs.
  • Provision of food and lunches at the Day Center.
  • In-kind support for transportation.
  • Recreational services: playroom/game library for children; playroom/game library for young people and adults; multicultural library.
  • Free access to the internet.
  • Free access to phones.
  • Assessment for everyday life in Mexico (use of money, public transportation and other topics).
  • Visits and social-cultural activities.
  • Green Area.

  • Spanish acquisition

If your first language is not Spanish and you would like to learn to speak Spanish, we can help you with the following services:

  • Spanish classes for foreigners.
  • Social-cultural conversations.
  • Referrals and scholarships to learn Spanish at the Center for the Teaching of Foreigners at UNAM.

If you believe that you need support to better your mood or you just want to talk with someone, we can provide the following services:

  • Individual psychological services.
  • Group psychological services.
  • Referral and accompaniment to access public psychological and psychiatric services.
